Description

The i2CAT Foundation is a non-profit organization whose aim is to promote research and innovation in advanced internet technology. The i2CAT model aims to make Internet research and innovation accessible to the whole of society through collaboration between the public sector, business and research groups within universities and the educational world.
i2CAT is currently involved in several projects in Technology Enhanced Learning, which are coordinated by the e-learning cluster. One of the main lines of research of this cluster focuses on Personal Learning Environments and they are in the planning stage of a project that will explore new and innovative ways of applying technology in the classrooom, in a Living Lab setting.
