Mensch & Computer 2010 is the central Human-Computer-Interaction conference in the German speaking world with a focus this year on interaction design and techniques, engineering methods and tools, usability methodolgies, linked interactions and context and applications.
DeLFI 2010 is the biggest conference in Germany covering topics about E-Learning in theory and practice. This years focus is about requirements for information science and the resulting consequences.
Simone Braun will present on Demonstrator 3 and the design framework for People Tagging developed within this scope. The Paper People Tagging - Aspekte und Möglichkeiten zur Gestaltung is co-authored with Andreas Schmidt and Valentin Zacharias.
Athanasios Mazarakis will present a pilot study on different incentives implemented in wikis and their impact on student engagement. This paper with the title Anreize zur Nutzung von Wikis in der Hochschullehre - Ergebnisse eines Pilotprojekts is a joint work with the KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Athanasios Mazarakis will also present at the 4th Workshop about E-Learning 2.0: Social Software and Web-based Interaction in Learning a paper, that presents first results about feedback mechanisms in a wiki, supporting a lecture in higher education. The title of the paper is Feedbackmechanismen zur Steigerung der Beteiligung im Web 2.0 – Ergebnisse einer Feldstudie zu Vorlesungswikis and is also a joint work with the KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
