Embedded in the 2nd World Summit on the Knowledge Society we had a symposium that was related to the topic of Personal Learning Environments. Graham Attwell, Maria Perifanou, Cristina Costa, Ricardo Torres and me presented complementary papers talking about PLEs, Digital Identity, Contextual Learning and Communities of Practice. It was a great platform to present ideas about challenging aspect of mobile learning and the first international conference where the Widget (Messaging) Server developed by UPB could be presented in action. The response to all of the contribution was very positive and the interest in the technical solution of what can be done with interacting widgets quite high. Moreover, another result of the meeting was the idea of a PLE Conference running in June 2010 in Barcelona. This conference shall provide a platform for researchers working in the area of Personal Learning Environments, either with an educational, organisational or technical background. The organisation has been started and the call will come out soon.

Apart from this, Graham could intensify greek contacts for example an institution for vocational training (ATTIKO KEK). These might become an application partner for Demonstrator 5, their interest in the Mature project is very high. It would wide our spectrum of european international partners.
